By the way, I was just reading apple limits current output on USB 2.0 to 500ma unless it's an official Apple product (why I won't ever support them). The 3.0 will go up to 1100. Snob Lol down with apple!

That is probably noise on the circuit that the power supply or hub are plugged into. Try and put it on a different circuit than the router and anything like refrigerator .

Hi AFORWW, sometimes it disconnects in the middle of milling work, have to restart from start again. It's disconnecting from the hub? yes from the hub because the led power light turns off

The light on the HUB goes out, or the light on the boards goes out? It might be an issue with hub itself. I can't think of any reason why it would want to arbitrarily disconnect. Now, if the power to the boards is going off, then yes it may be the circuit you're plugged into. I had that problem a long while back where a certain plug in my garage would get power spikes and screw with the power supply. Like Derek mentioned, try it on a different circuit and see what happens. Avoid any circuit that has large appliances or high draw stuff on it.

It does sound like a problem with the hub.

This isn’t really the particular thread for this... but to answer your question a lot of people make a dust shoe.
