Not sure if this is a good place for it, but I've been using Fusion360 for not just my PowerRoute, but all the rest of my woodworking design, now, and I've written a Fusion360 script that will spit out CSV file (text-based spreadsheet) that contains a list of Bodies with their materials and dimensions. I've attached the script (BillOfMaterials.py) as well as an example output (the CSV file) for a workbench I've been designing, which you should be able to see here: a360.co/2GjD4tkAnyone else have any useful Fusion 360 scripts? I've also written one that eliminates duplicate lines & circles in sketches, which really helped speed up a little circuit board drawing I'd been working on. -Kev

Thanks for the post. Where did you learn to use Python? I've gone through some teach yourself python online courses but haven't really used it for anything worth while.

I've been programming since I was 12 years old, and have a degree in computer science. That said, stackoverflow.com answers all my Python questions, as I've never used it to do anything real (when I need a scripting language, I hit JavaScript these days). -Kev
