Hello all, I have a Davinci Pro 3 in 1 with laser, but their software mangles the hell out of images, changing the scale so that I can't reliably set the size well enough to etch brass award plates (for instance) without having spillage to the point where it's going to cut into profits (no pun intended).
I'd like to eventually retrofit that laser to the M3, but figured I'd start with a laser from a cheapo Chinese "engraver" setup I had lying around. Could anyone post pictures of their laser mounts, particularly from M3 builds to give me an idea of what's worked, how well if at all, etc?
I'd really appreciate it, and I plan on posting my work as well!

Update: I've procured a 6w blue laser with PWM/TTL and I'm going to try installing it on my M3. I'll create a new thread for the attempt. Anybody have any suggestions before I just dive in using the J-Tech laser installation document?

I think dadof4 has the laser option on the M3.

As soon as I have the work area cleaned up (trust me, it's a mess around here), I'll put up a thread with pictures and the breakdown of the updates to the M3, including an enclosure and the laser.
