Wow Rob, full product production. Really impressive. I would have never thought of making a vacuum fixture like that.

Just a couple more pictures, and I'll label this thread as done. I've printed these up in plastic on my 3D printer, but ultimately I'll have them made from thin steel, probably water-jet cut. I'll have an option to glue magnets onto the main bezel of the panel, and include a couple of these quick-swap bezels and instructions for using Inkscape to modify a label. The end user can decide what switch assignments they want to use, then edit the SVG drawing to suit, then print out onto sticky label stock and attach to the quick-swap bezels. Then when they change planes (or cars, or whatever they are using this with) they can just swap the bezels and update their game keyboard assignments to suit.

Had to post one more update. Got the new switches in and they are perfect! Full size, PCB pins, nice throw, and exquisite feel - like butter!
Of course the pins are different, so I get to lay out the board again and cut another PCB! Yay!

New board layout with the new switch footprint. I'm going to try .5mm traces... quite a few more jumper wires, but I tried to keep them small. We'll see how the Carve King does on this one tomorrow.

Update on this project...
Got my PCBs in from dirtypcbs.com and they look great. Built up a few boards with the switches I have on hand...ordered a bunch more but don't know when they'll get here. I'm working on fixing up the enclosures. I 3D printed two different variations, and now am going through countless iterations of sanding, painting, cleaning up small flaws, resanding, repainting, etc. ad nauseum. Once they are as close to perfect as I can get them I'll use them as masters to make silicon molds, then pour the production enclosures from 2 part resin. Hope to start selling these on Amazon in a couple weeks.
I'm really happy with my Carve King...it did a great job of cutting the prototype PCBs and saved me weeks of ordering PCBs to validate the design. Looking forward to the next design so I can make another PCB.

Almost ready to start shipping the stand-alone version of this switch panel... I decided to make this switch box first, for those who are not DIYers and want a ready-made solution. I'll do the panel after.
