Hello, I have a carve king and I’m doing maintenance on the machine. I’ve noticed the z axis is not vertical from front to back. How do I adjust this?
Thank you very much

Thank you Bruce for your input. I discovered another anomaly with the router pitch.
When I bring the gantry forward to the front end of my waste board, the Z axis is plumb, But, when I jog the gantry to the rear of the waste board, I find the Z axis is out by .030" from top to bottom !!
Note I just resurfaced the waste board and that's when I noticed this.
Thank you for any input on this problem.

When you surface the board you shouldn't see that. It should be orthogonal to the router throughout.

Orthogonal...I had to look that one up. So would the Y rails need to be adjusted on the front or back sides?

I was too loose with terminology there. The Y rails can be pitched forward or back some by the "clock position" of the front and rear v wheels on the end plates. You can also slightly tilt the gantry forward or back by loosening the Y rails and moving thee gantry, as there is some free fitment in the mounting holes. You can also put some shim stock between the Z rails and X plate.
When the board is surfaced though you shouldn't see a discernable distance between the surfaced bed and router at the same Z distance.
