The build is complete. I have checked everything twice but the Y axis seems to be very jumpy and not moving in Sync. please help with any suggestions. I have been using an X carve so looking forward to using the new machine but struggling with the y axis. Carve King Model

Hey Gavin. I'm sure we can help you out and get you running.
There are a couple of reasons why you would see what you are describing.
First and foremost, we want to make sure the motors are turning at the same speed.
Do you have the jumpers set on both the Y and the A? Have you cloned the Y to the A by placing the jumpers as described in the instructions? If you pull both Y motors, do they turn in sync with each other? Are both set to 0.6V volts? What setting is your multimeter on when you measure this? If they do, it's a matter of one or both sides mechanically binding. Either an antibacklash nut is too tight, V wheels are too tight, or the driveline itself is misaligned.
Please let us know what you find on those tests.

You can also check the coupler between the motor and the lead screw. Make sure the set screw is tight on the lead screw and motor shaft.
