My DWP611 is having an issue with speed control. The speed surges up and down and I can not keep it at a consistent speed.
I probably have about 50 hours on it and just changed the brushes. I found that one brush was a bit shorter than the other. Still experiencing the same issues though. I usually run it at speed 3.
Anyone else ever have this issue with your router? Not sure if I should contact Dewalt. Also, is there a warranty on these routers?
Thanks
Mike

Unless you have a bad connection at your power plug, sounds like you have an issue with the router. I don't remember anyone describing a problem like this before.

It's a little past when we would cover it, but the DeWalt service center extends protection beyond our own on the router. If you contact them then they should swap it. Please notify us if they don't.

Update, spoke with DeWalt, and they are replacing the router for me.
