Howdy all. I am a new owner of a M3 kit and excited to get it assembled and running. I need to choose between the spindle or router, and get started learning Fusion360 so at the beginning of this journey. I have done some CAD drawings but no CAM. Hoping to add CNC skills and capability to my welding and general tinkering (motorcycles mostly) hobbies. Looks like a great forum glad this resource exists around the specific machine I now have. - Dan in Colorado

I have a spindled M3, and have to say it's a great machine. Whether you go with a spindle or a router, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

New to forum and CNC. purchased an M3 from a previous owner. One of my big reasons for going with MillRight is the support forums hope to be running something for a test today.

Hey everybody,
My name is Mike and I got a M3 in November. Thanks to the help of Derek and a bunch of research on the forum, I got my m3 dialed in and running great. I am new to CNC and learning something new from every carve. Currently using easel for sign making and making small boxes, but slowly learning fusion 360.
I work for a plywood wholesaler that specializes in cabinet making materials, so that basically sparked my interest in cnc. I've been primarily using baltic birch for my signs and v carves, with great results. I will share some of my creations soon on the forum
Thanks and happy carving
Mike

Hello All, Craig Edwards here, I'm new to CNC but been building all manner of things since I was a kid. So now that I'm retired, I finally have time to learn CNC... I've been looking around for a place to get started and I think I've found it here. I plan to purchase one of the Mega V kits shortly! That said, I do have some questions for Derek about which kit (plasma or router) to purchase first, but I'll start a separate thread with that question. Anyway I look forward to finally getting hands-on with my own platforms and hope to learn a lot from others on this forum. Thanks!

Hi, I'm Alex and I have about 10 years of CNC experience with DIY machines but I love the Mega V design so I just bought one and am looking forward to playing with it.

Hi! I'm Ed and come to you with no cnc experience. I am now retired following a career in agriculture and computing. I acquired a great love of woodworking from my dad. I've had a desire to get involved with cnc for a long time. I ordered the Mega V the end of November and anxiously anticipate its arrival. I fully expect that I will be asking many questions throughout this learning process. Thanks for this community and the opportunity to receive and offer assistance to all of us on this journey.
Regards Ed

Hello y'all
New guy here. pickup a M3 from a friend. I still have to put it together. I have almost 8 years experience with manual mills and lathes, I am currently taking a Haas CNC Operator course. I also have a 3D printer and over 10 years experience fixing them (I have worked on everything for Cupcake CNC to the Large Stratasys 900MC printers). Looking forward to build this thing and learn how to use it.
