Thanks Derek, I did not understand where to speed up feedrate. I could slow it down... Now I get it.

A couple of random F360 questions. If I bring an svg or a part in to F360, and it is upside down, do you know off hand how to rotate the part in the workspace?

Also when I get a toriodal tool path between parts it works, but as a boss cut, or a perimeter cut around a part, it just cuts straight. Maybe this is too general of a question. Add more stock around the part?

The move command should also have a place to rotate.

The adaptive clearing pass kind of works better when there's a pocket to machine out. I'm not sure you can generate a trochoidal toolpath by selecting an outside contour. Hope that makes sense.

Derek - 
Fusion question on that first tutorial. I brought in a .dxf, but once I extrude the outer material (as you did with the family sign) - I am unable to select the remaining faces in order to extrude them back up. I see them there, but it won't let me select them. I made sure I was selecting the sketch, and not the bodies it created from the extrusion.

What am I doing wrong?

I dont totally follow which face you are trying to select.

Are you in the model workspace? You might also try pivoting the view a little. Sometimes if I'm looking straight on at a face I have a harder time grabbing it.

Haha - got it. Ok, I missed it the first several times, but I see you click the lightbulb icon before selecting the text features. I had the white lightbulb, but after turning it yellow, the circular feature in my sketch became available.

I knew it would be something very basic, but was missing it even after a bunch of Google searching.
Onward, upward.

Those light bulbs are how you hide elements. Use them especially in cam. Always hide your sketch before creating toolpath because you can inadvertently select a sketch line as milling geometry.
