The wireless xbox controller video is not working. It keeps saying it is in restricted mode and I must have permission to view it. Am I missing something? Video is not working for me either, but I have seen it and used an xbox controller to control ugs. So if you have any questions I'd be happy to try and help.

Liked the new video on Vcarve texturing. Informative without being overwhelming. I would like to see a video on 4th axis techniques.

Howdy all!
So... I'm a fairly tech savvy unix nerd... very comfortable with tech things.... however I seem to be missing some fundamental bits....
in the land of 3d printing, there's usually a system actively connected to the 3d printer as an interface between the printer and the machine... I'm using octoprint + a raspberry pi for this currently on my 3d printer...
What's the equivalent in CNC land?
I'm seeing lots of people talk about fusion360, which In my mind is more for making the model... then exporting to STL which you can import into octoprint or use Cura or some other slicer to generate gcode, which you then deliver to octoprint to drive the 3d printer....
what's the 'CNC Controller software' that's not a hot mess? evertyhting I've found thus far seems to either require windows (I have 0 windows boxes here, haven't touched windows for 8.5 years, and I intend to continue that trend)
or are run in a BROWSER?!?!?! WHAT THE EFF?! how can *ANYONE* believe a browser (an inherently multitasking piece of software) is the right platform to control a realtime job?
This just seems like a path to insanity and madness, not to mention broken parts and potentially worse... so I *MUST* be missing something incredibly obvious....
I appreciate the help/guidance anyone with ACTUAL EXPERIENCE USING $software SUCCESSFULLY and HAPPILY on a unix variant (rPi or linux x86_64) with as MegaV XL...

grbl, preferably from the millright site. Vectric, Fussion360, etc, makes toolpaths in gcode, then a 'sender' program send the lines to the machine to execute.
