I'm using deskproto. I think the big problem is it's only cutting in one direction which is essentially doubling the code but not actually doing anything on cut back. The only problem is I don't know how to fix that

I'm using deskproto. I think the big problem is it's only cutting in one direction which is essentially doubling the code but not actually doing anything on cut back. The only problem is I don't know how to fix that direction when machining is set by your choice for "Milling direction" (Operation parameters, tab Movement): Meander will use both directions, Conventional and Climb will use only one.

Yea I just found that. I was using the basic edition before and when I switched to the expert I saw that it had way more options I will give that a try

So I set it to meander this time which I believe is the default even on the entry edition and it's still only cutting one way. This was the largest file yet at 2.1 mil lines but for some reason ugs did not freeze this time and it only took 3.5 hours so I'm wondering if that counter on there is even right
