Has anyone tried adding the J Tech Laser to their M3? I've read through the walkthrough provided on the MillRight Resources page and it looks pretty self-explanatory, but I wondered if anyone else has had success with adding the laser. I picked up CNC routing and Fusion 360 pretty quickly, but I have no experience with lasers and limited experience with the Arduino. The purpose behind getting the laser attachment is to engrave logos/names onto maple/ash baseball bats. Any thoughts/advice appreciated. Matt

Hey.
We have customers all over using the laser with the M3. We are a dealer for JTECH’s laser and sell a good number of them. My concern for your project is that engraving on a rounded surface can be challenging and is really best done with a rotary system. I would also worry about work height clearance.

Ah, you're correct, the Carve King would be fine on the Z height, but the M3 is probably going to be a bit short. Appreciate the straightforward feedback.
