Could anyone comment on the quality of cut they can get on white 1/16" acrylic with either the 2.8W or 7W jtech diodes? My old 1.8W is really struggling to even get through this stuff let alone get the clean top surface I need for this project so I'll likely be upgrading but I'd hate to pay $600 for a 7W diode that may not be able to do the engraving half of the project well. If anyone is interested my backup plan is to modify the M3 into a cheap, albeit slow, 40W CO2 laser for around $700. Thanks in advance!

Engraved with a diamond drag bit. Cut out with a 1/8 upcut bit. Used a homemade vacuum table with a 25 year old shop vac to hold the acrylic down. .
