I want to say it, cause I dont see it very often (if ever) in this forum, Kudos to Derek and the Millright team/company. They have gone so far and beyond as a small US based (at least I think) company compared to so many I deal with on a daily basis. I work in the IT sector and if you want to know about terrible customer support DM me, i can probably ruin your mood. The idea that a company builds/sells a product and then decides to create a public forum to try and help their client base for free is a rarity. I am sure someone will try to argue with me, but i dont care, they are just wrong. In our days of instant gratification a company like Millright is so far above and beyond. So with all that said,
Thank you Derek and the Millright team. Thank you all for trying your best to support your product and to go out of your way to make sure every single person that buys one from you is successful. In todays world of disposable consumer products, that is something I miss from years past.
And I also offer those Kudos to the members of the forums that are not Millright employees, you guys are saints for giving up free time to help others.
Thank you Millright and forum helpers
James (a very happy carve king owner)

Agreed! I have always felt that Derek and the Millright team were out to provide value and service that is hard to find these days. And through them I found a hobby that I have come to enjoy not only in working with the software and machine itself but to share helping others learn along the way too. Thanks for the post James.

That you so much gentlemen for the nice words! I appreciate the affirmation so much! It is a pleasure to have customers like you guys.
Many assume that our goal as a company is to make as much money as we can. Money is nice, but I started this business out of an intense passion for CNC the desire to share that enthusiasm with others. I used to sit at my desk at my job before I started MillRight and I had to fight back the urge think about CNC and automation that was affordable and effective. We have seven full time employees and some helpers here and there, so we definitely "need" to sell to support the business and the associate payroll, but ultimately its about meeting people like you two and hoping we deliver a machine that helps you unleash your own creativity. As we have grown over the last few years, I try to keep sight that the business is made possible by people like you that have similar interests and want to make cool projects!
I would like to personally thank you guys for what you do for the MillRight community and the maker community at large.
Cheers

I concur with the kudos offered to Derek and the team at Millright. I purchased an M3 last year, and I am now awaiting shipment of a Mega V. I am so glad I chose Millright for my CNC purchases. The machines are excellent, and the service and support is exemplary. I am a happy Millright customer.

These are my thoughts from a facebook post I replied to a couple days ago. Figured I'd throw it in here to be sure to get it to the people of MillRight.....
Never seen a company give updates as thorough as these guys. Seems like they tell you everything. Good and bad. Sure there are still some unknowns but if they put half the effort they put into customer service into manufacturing the parts and the quality of the materials I'm getting the best machine on the market hands down.

Absolutely outstanding support from start to finish. My CarveKing has been relegated to mostly laser work as I now have an openbuilds Lead1010 for it's larger capacity. I had ordered the openbuilds just before the MegaV was announced or I most likely would have gone in that direction. I learned SO much building the CarveKing that it made the openbuilds an easy choice since I knew exactly what I wanted. The carveking is stout and reliable and the support has been top notch - even though I haven't needed any additional support once I got the machine up and running. I still post on the forum and keep up with everything MillRight.

I agree too, very impressed with product and support. I have been a builder for 37 yrs, and I always treated every customer like I would want to be treated, with honesty and respect....and thats very hard to find these days. Nice to see that in a company like Millright too.

I feel it would be prudent to note that these forums had a very strong influence on my decision to purchase the power route. It shows off your willingness to interact with your customers and that your business takes pride in providing a good product. Very unparalleled in the market your in. As I have said before, I have lurked these forums for about a year now, and once I decided to buy and create a post of my own, I instantly got a reply from derek about shipping questions. Totally awesome. Really makes people comfortable with your name and product.
Keep up the good work gentlemen

this is very encouraging to make my decision to buy a Millright. i've been browsing different companies for a month now. Customer service was my top concern to make my decision. Especially that this will be my first CNC experience. Just saving a bit more money right now so i can go big right away. Mega V 35" seems to be a good start machine. Plus i see that i can buy addons later to it.

When I was shopping for a CNC machine, I contacted Derek, asked him some accuracy questions - and his honesty was a green flag for me. Since then I bought an Power Route and haven't looked back. Great job Derek & team!!

I bought my power mill when I lived in Canada and only partially finished it. I moved to Costa Rica and hope I will still get great help with finishing it. Customs here can be a nightmare but there are ways. I'm sure the guys will help all they can. Muchas Gracias
