What exactly would be involved in adding about 2" to the Z on my power route? Is it as easy as just making new side plates?

I made a new Z-plate and then added an adapter router mounting plate. I made the Z-plate wider than the current Z-plate to accommodate the mounting bolts for the adapter router plate on each side.

Im wondering how much extra stock height would be available with just a taller Z plate.

Attached are the design files. thank you but those load into 360 as sketch squares. no bodies or anything to really see. What am I doing wrong?

If you have a lot of extra lines when you view the file, change fusion 360 visual style to shaded.
Note:
1) Please do a cut in MDF first to make sure everything fits on your machine.
2) The mounting plate should be machined from the back so that the counter sunk holes are machined.
3) You will need to do your own setups. I used both 1/4 and 1/8 bits.
4) The mounting plate can be turned upside down to extend the z clearance past the top of the z plate.
5) The mounting plate - z plate connection can be used for traming.
6) You can add additional plates between the mounting plate and z plate to extend y-axis overhang for machining parts higher than the Power Route clearance. This also lets you use the front of the machine to machine parts even higher.
