I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to switch from the y axis to control the a+- rotation part. I loaded the tool paths into the UGS (4th axis version), I home the machine, bring the router above the part on the 4th axis, zero it, load my file tool path that I made in Aspire. Once i send the tool paths, I start getting I think Y + movement instead of the 4th axis A+- rotating. I tried changing a few settings with no luck ( off the top of my head, I can't remember what they were in UGS due to being at work this weekend).

Anyone reading this... I believe the issue I was having was due to using aspire and the gcode generated for the tool paths was not for the 4th axis. I will try to program something in fusion 360 this week and see how it goes. There was a member on facebook that had a video of him running the 4th axis with everything designed in fusion. I have been limited on what I could do and look up until now ( I just got my internet hooked up at home).

Please keep us up to date on your progress. You're on the cutting edge of the 4th axis option. We're all learning together. 👍

Having the same issue and intimidated by having to learn fusion 360 when Aspire is fantastic and intuitive. If someone figures out how to use Aspire's rotary export with the Mega V, please update here. A post processor for Aspire might be needed/helpful?
