Yeah, I looked at the Mega V after I posted...that stinks. Maybe drill two holes on the lower end of the X gantry plate to facilitate screwdriver access to the router mount screws?

Rather than shimming the router mount, consider shimming the Z-rails. Before attempting the "Easy and Cheap Tramming Adjustment Plate," I shimmed the top of both Z rails away from the Z plate by about 1 mm. That took care of most of my tramming issues. Then, when I constructed the "Easy and Cheap," it only needed to deal with fine tuning. The screws and nuts holding the Z rails are relatively easy to access.

I'm not sure on the mega V but shimming the Z rails on the Power Route is a giant pain and very time consuming. I can also confirm my tram is out once again using this tram plate method

This is the tram plate I made and added a place for the torch to mount. Good thing about this plate is if you have different size mounts you can remove them and mount them without taking apart the Z plate.

If you made a plate like I have you wouldn’t have to drill holes to access. You would however have to drill and tap two holes for the tram plate!
