Ive been running my Mega V for a few days now with no problems up until this morning. Halfway into a small sign project the machine started losing steps in the x axis. Ive checked the pinion gear to make sure its not slipping on the motor shaft and the teeth seem to be meshing with the rack okay. I was running it at 40 inches per minute even though the Easel program Im using defaulted to 10 inches per min with red oak. Am I running it too fast? it definitely has a little vibration going on when it gets out of sync, I just can't visually pin point the problem. Ive also checked the Z V-wheels to make sure there was no slop. Im a little too scared to dive into a bigger project until I get this resolved. Im also not clear on if I should be lubing the racks or not. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Doug

Make sure the M6 washers are placed as a spacer on the two motor mount plate screws.

Double check the set screws for the gear on the stepper motor. This came up the other day in a CNC router group along with a MillRight group. Also could be a usb cable
