Im slowly moving deeper into machining and with that I have purchased a touch probe to do much more accurate zeroing so I can do multiple sided parts. I have been using ugs classic since I got the machine and it has served me well with not one issue but as I am switching over to platform I am having problems with not running my code and random commands crashing my operations. What version of platform should I be running? I have included 2 pictures side by side of some code I had run on platform where the first operation would fail with a generic error but the third operation ran fine. in ugs classic both operations ran with no issues. I am not a wizard with g code but I dont understand why op 1 is is giving me an error but op3 does not, So on top of seeing if there is anything wrong with that code I want to change to a version of platform known to work with no problems

If you were getting good results with UGS Classic just go back to using it. It may be something going on with the Platform version.

The only reason I want to switch to platform is for the probing plugin. I cant find a good resource for information on using the macros to do a probe cycle on classic like the platform version

Thanks for the feed back. I use bCNC so I don't keep track of the UGS software.
