Been awhile since I've been able to post anything on here since I've been spending most of my free time taking care of some vacation property we bought almost a year ago. Finally got some projects done though. Tried out the (relatively new) Photo V-Carve toolpath to make a coat rack for the new property - I think it worked pretty well. Maple with somewhat dark stain & satin poly. AA Attachments:

That looks great. Another option you could try is to use a lighter wood and apply a dark stain first. Then cut the image on the pre-stained wood. This will give a higher contrast image with light wood (cut area) and stained area. You have to play with the resolution but it works better on larger work pieces.
