The M5x16 screw doesn’t fit through the pillow block?
Anyone else have that problem?
“the idler bearing pillow block as shown. Put an M5x16 screw through the idler block, through the plate, and secure it with an M5 nylock nut.”

Maybe check the screw is actually a 5mm diameter? M5 should be the right size for the pillow block. I assume this is on the Carve King?

Hi thank you so much Bruce for your reply, yes there’s Qty: 2 M5x16 Machine Screws in a baggie, and they are 5mm and the 5mm nuts fit perfect on them. But, they absolutely will not go through the pillow block as instructed. 4mm screws do fit but I’m assuming those are needed later in the assembly and there aren’t any 16 length M4 screws that I’m seeing. |

Is this pillow block on the gantry, X axis lead screw actuator? I would measure the screws with a caliper and make sure the bag is labeled right.
Sometimes they get miss labeled.
