I'm still in the researching part of buying my first CNC router. Never done this before. I think i got my mind set now on buying a Millright Mega V. So i've been watching many videos and everything looked interesting so far. But tonight i watched a tutorial video on the Fusion software. Is it normal that i pretty much didn't understand much of the video. I never done this before.
Is Fusion really hard to learn? Is there another choice of software to create our projects? There was so many unknown terms used in that video. I created my Fusion member acct an hour ago but still didn't see where to download it. Not a good start.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Fusion 360 has become a multi-tool CAD/CAM for all kinds of applications. As such it has become increasingly more difficult to learn. There are many Youtube channels that have tutorials for beginners using F360. FYI: It is free to hobbyist but recently Autodesk changed there ULA (user licence agreement) so many people are learning the changes that just came down this month. (I think this month or last?) Another software available by Vectric is much more user friendly but at a cost. www.vectric.com/products This software can be purchased from MillRight CNC also. If you're looking for some easy free software for simple V carving you can try F-engrave. www.scorchworks.com/Fengrave/fengrave.html

Thanks Bruce. i'll look for more videos and check out the other softwares you mention. Even if i can just find some files all done and ready to carve, just to get started soon after assembly. But i do want to learn on how to create with CAD and CAM.
