Power Route Losing Holding Torque

Hi,

I have a Power Route that I have run hard.  Right now when the machine is powered up the x axis is generating holding torque but the y axis isn't. But both axis still jog around just fine.  I find this very weird and am worried about losing position.

How are you testing for loss of torque?

The first thing I would mention is the coupler. Make sure it is tight.

We need to see if the motor is the problem or the driver. You can switch the x and y motor on the back of the control box. See if the loss in torque follows the y or is transferred to the x. This should tell us if it is the motor or the driver.
