Side note to deepdivetc specifically: Your machine has firmware that swaps a couple pins to run the laser. Do you have the Z switch plugged into Sp En as per the laser supplemental instructions?

Sorry Derek, Work has gotten in the way lately (they actually expect me to show up... how dare them) so I have not been able to get back to the machine the last few days and it is not looking good next week either, they have me scheduled for 84 hours next week. But, I will look into it because on mine I used the instructions from the machine only and not the laser as I was going to add it on later, but I understand on what you are saying about mine having different firmware, so I am guessing it is not correct the way that I have it wired up right now. When I get time to get to it that will be one of the first things that I look into. Thanks for taking the time to point that out to me.

84 hours next week. Man that's a busy schedule. Are you sure you don't run a CNC kit company?
No rush. This is all at your leisure. When you are ready to look back at it, we'll be here.

HAHA, no, I am one of those guys that has to stay up all night long to make sure the electricity keeps flowing through the power lines and onto the grid. Basicly I have to adjust voltages through the night to keep them in line with where they should be and then when or if things hit the fan I am the one that has to decide how to fix it and fast. But on nights like this one tonight when things are quiet I get to read about all the things that I would rather be doing..haha

We will get ya up. Does is try to grind past a particular axis? For instance, it first will move up to contact Z. Is that working right? It will hit the Z switch, back off some, move back into the switch, click it, and move back off a little. The X and Y will then simultaneously move towards their switches. Is one or both of those posing a problem? Can you describe how you have them connected? Z axis is perfect that does what it's supposed to do. Then the x and y grind until it makes errors but if the y makes it past the switch first it grinds and stops machine and x obviously goes no further. Not it sure what you mean by connected I used the wires lol. Sorry couldn't resist. I followed instructions as far as I know to the tee

Breslinmar, can you take a picture of the board or is it too much trouble to get the top off. Just wanted to make sure that you are on the positive leads on the board and that the red is closest to the chips. Sounds good that at least the Z is working correct... only two more to go... haha

Sorry, picture is too small for me to see what pins they are on. Just verify that they are on the positive pins and not the negative and that all three reds are on the left side. That is my only suggestion... I know I am probably not a lot of help. Just trying to help out since most people are probably in bed at this hour..haha.

Lol no your fine this site won't let me post proper pictures so I have to email them to myself to resize them and then resave them again to post lol i hear where your coming from but they are all in correct places. Just thought it might be something in setting that was wrong. It's frustrating cause the z works perfect. Im not a very good computer person 😳

Most of the time homing stuff is a connection issue such as a connector not quite crimped well or a crossed up conection. Can you tell me how they are connected on the switch side as well?
Red to NO and black to COM?

Red to NO and black to COM? yes thats correct not at the machine at the minute i can check in about 30 mins but think the black was the one to the side off the switch and red was the closest to that like the middle one lets say. There also connected to XYZ + locations on the board with red pointed inward as per instructions Is there a way if i put it to the home location where the switches are engaged that you can reset the homing coordinates or should the homing switches do there job just like z axis is should have the router this evening if i can get this sorted will give it a go lol
