That's awesome! Man I want to see some vidoes of that when you get it going.

Haha, pretty much! I can tell the car to "trigger beast mode" and it'll put itself in a 500ish horsepower profile for the fuel maps and timing, raise the boost limit to 20psi, open the driver side exhaust to get louder and allow more airflow (Straight piped driver side) and override my fuel gauge to act as a boost gauge. Then I can tell it to "Calm Down" and it'll revert to stock settings. I actually just uninstalled that computer to sell it to a guy in Oregon to help fund my upcoming CK build. I have a truck I'm going to be playing with next. The damn Bimmer is too smart and would get cranky when you started pulling more current in certain circuits. The F150 won't have a clue. Lol. Plans are to have it crack the windows when internal temps reach a certain point, roll them back up if it starts raining, and have motion sensors roll up and lock the truck if anyone walks up to it. May have it start itself if its GPS shows it's not at home and the cabin temp reaches a certain point. Also could add a light detector so it won't start itself in a garage or at night. You see what I'm getting at.. lol. Also, I'm down to help anyone do similar things if they'd like. Just shoot me a message. =) So can you make my refrigerator go buy beer when it gets low?

That's awesome! Man I want to see some vidoes of that when you get it going. Yeah for sure! And no, can't buy beer, but I can make a tube system to deliver beer to the recliner like the drive through at the bank! 🍻👍 Edit: if Amazon starts selling beer, then yeah.. we can do that. Lol! Pressure plate and a Dash Button. Simple!

Hi everyone! I’m April and new to the CNC world! I purchased the Carve King a few months ago and just started the assembly a few days ago! I’m only working on it a couple of hours at a time and the build is coming along great... running the wires and drag chains at the moment. I’m a banker by day and fabricator/builder in my off time. My experience includes carpentry, some welding, mechanics, and previous programming and coding. I always try to build/make it before I buy it. I’ve built my own house and my own rock crawling Jeep. I’m obsessed with learning new things and processes! I’m looking forward to getting started and learning more about the CNC world. I’ve already learned a ton by just trolling the forum, but I’m sure it’s just a drop in the bucket to information I will gather in the near future. From what I can tell so far... the customer service and support here is top notch! Thanks in advance for that! Any other CNC ladies around?

As Kevin mentioned, you have a variety of skills that kind of make you the ultimate "maker". There are some other ladies that are on the forum occasionally. I've been pleasantly surprised at just how many women buy these machines. Gals like to make things too. Thanks again for your business and show off what you make!

My name is Allen, and I am seriously looking at purchasing the Power Route. 11 years ago I build a JRGO router. Over the years I have upgraded a few parts, but it just doesn't cut it any more and I am looking at upgrading. Its mostly a hobby, but I have been cutting tap handles for a local brewery, and I need a better machine. Anyone that has a Power Route feel free to convince me to take the plunge.

Allen,
Welcome to the forum. Thanks for showing off some of the things you make on your JRGO. Hopefully you'll be making them on the Power Route soon!
Cheers Derek

Allen, I have the Carve King myself but based on my experience I am sure the Power Route will live up to your kicking ass saying.

Welcome to the forum Allen. Those are some cool tap handles you've made. I've got an M-3 so I can't speak for the Power Route but someone here with an M3 used theirs to mill titanium, so the Power Route should be up to about anything you throw at it. Maybe someone who owns one will take a break from making cool stuff like guitars and aircraft and weigh in on the machine. I think you'll find Millright sells awesome machines and has customer service that can't be beat.

Hey my name is James, and I'm new to CNC. I've got tons of hobbies, and I've been interested in CNC for a while. I've been lurking around the forum for a while, and just received my Carve King today! Looking forward to building it and actually making something! Hopefully someday I will make my own guitar like the ones I've seen on this forum!

Hello all. Thanks for having me! I'm a cattle rancher in hot North Texas who is always looking for a new project. After recently starting a 3d printing business (outsourced) I've decided CNC milling plastics will give me a better product. It looks like CNC milling with quality results is much more doable with a low cost home machine compared to 3d printing where IMHO decent results require a six figure machine... I'll leave the specifics out of this introduction but i have some questions I'm hoping will help me determine what machine and configuration will work best for me. I'll post in the project thread. Come have a look if you can help Thanks in advance! Feel free to see my project and help with any advice: r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmillrightcnc%2Eproboards%2Ecom%2Fthread%2F1298%2F&share_tid=1298&share_fid=1474836&share_type=t

Hey Atroyp. Good to have you here.
How many head of cattle do you have? Some years ago I was going through an economics program with a cattle rancher and we did an econometrics project to build a predictive pricing model for various types of cattle based on market factors. I can't remember much about the project, but I do remember having to learn about the business. From what I remember it was an interesting business but seems like a ton of work.
I'll address some of your specific questions over in the other post.
