Found the email notifications options - thanks!
The sorting issue I mentioned is actually "most recent posts within any single thread" being displayed at the top, rather than needing to navigate to whatever the last page of the thread is to find most recent posts. Not a big deal at all, but I usually like to view forums that way, and I didn't find an option under Forum Settings.
Aforww, I'll have to check out Tapatalk again. I think I tried to set it up one time on my phone, and had trouble. Thanks.

Oh I see what you mean now. I am not aware of a setting for that.

Just an FYI, a workaround for that issue of having to manually go to the last post, if you look up right under your name and the "sign out button", there is a button that says participated. This will have a "new" next to it if there are new postings in threads you have participated in. When you press this button you get a list of the threads "new" next to ones with new replies. When you click the thread it will take you to most recent response automatically.

Hey, i think this mill right looks like a great value for a starter cnc router. I have a question regarding anyone doing modifications. Once you get the machine i assume it would be pretty to cut some Mdf pieces, get a longer v slot extrusion and expand the y axis considerably. Has anyone done that yet?

Currently working on some other modifications that are priority. You should get one, do it, and show us all how it turned out.

Welcome to the forum Jdog. That's a pretty interesting question you pose there. So far the M-3 seems to have done everything anyone's tried with it, but can it make itself bigger?
If you do it, please post pics.

If you had some pretty solid engineering/tinkering skills it could be done. We have another model planned, but current business with our existing model is kind of slowing the development on that. I'd expect by the end of the year. Discounts will be available to existing customers on upgrades when that rolls out. I've seen some chatter about some folks doing what you describe, but to my knowledge it has not been done yet.

That machine of yours is far too nice looking to change. It's going in the MillRight CNC museum, lol.

Hi guys and gals, My nae is Clark. I am just finishing my build of my Mill right CNC. I have always wanted one, nut never had the space to mill and cut until now. Like Derek, I have always had a passion for tinkering and design. I also got my start in 3d printing. First from a kit, then onto designing my own part and such for it.Since there was no dirt and dust from it, I could easily run it in my loft. That was about 4 years ago. Fast forward to today, I know have a house with a garage shop and a wife who really really wanted a kitten. So my wife struck a deal. I could get a small hobby priced CNC and she could get a kitten (ct #4 if anyone is counting). The build was a breeze. I am very impressed on the simple and effective design. To add to the mill, I've bust a custom work table with a vac line and added vac lines to the mill. An old laptop runs it for now. I meant to post my build as I did it over the last two weeks but was too busy playing with the mill to do so. Now all that's left is to learn the finer points of CNC milling and part design. Since it does vary a bit from 3d printing design. I look forward to talking with everyone on here, and seeing what they have done to their own Mill right CNC and what they are making with them!

Hello, Good start you have going there! You're on the right track with the vacuum set up right there on the table. Looking forward to seeing what else you get going. I also built a "special" place for my machine. Granted it doesn't have it's own snazzy vacuum line lol. I'm going to be building a dust hood for my cart when I get some time to get to it. I use a shopvac for now but I have nice big dust collector for moving some serious air that will get plumbed to this eventually. PSA on dust collection. Keep in mind that small hoses have velocity but not volume. Keep that in mind when milling nasty stuff like MDF. You will be blowing dust everywhere. In my case, I have the shopvac, dust collector, and an ambient air scrubber I made going if the garage door is closed. Make sure to get some pictures in the "Custom Builds" thread. I don't like being the only one with pics in there.

I don't like being the only one with pics in there. I have upgraded the lines for dust collection. Well, one of them. The other should arrive on Monday. Only ordered 1 kit when I needed two. After Monday I will be running 2 1/2" Loc lines for dust collection. I only have a small bit of dust when running one so the other /2" line should take care of the rest. I too am using a shop vac, That's why the valve is on my table. I was afraid my shop vac would starve , Plus I can hook a small vacuum table to it in the future. The DW660 has an tool less chuck, so a traditional dust boot would get in the way. I plan on doing a full write up of the add on if anyone wants it. I'm in it for less than 50 bucks and can adjust it anyway I need it. You can get the loc lines in 3/4" too, but I felt it would be over kill. And thanks for the welcome. I'll add this to custom builds when I get the new lines on and take new pics!

Welcome to the site GWI. That's some impressive work you've done on the dust collection system. I look forward to seeing what else you do with your M-3.
I'm impressed with your deal making skills too. All I got when the misses got a kitten was scratched up furniture and a litter box to empty.

We have 3 cats and two dogs prior to the kitten. All are rescues and all were out of the kitten puppy phase when we got them. I figured when I told her I'd get a CNC if she gets a kitten she would have dropped it. It was any deal making skills, it was a back fired plan lol. I got it for making circuit boards but have quickly expanded my scope for it once I saw what it can do.
