Hi markwisniowski, welcome to the forum. It looks like you did your homework before deciding to go with the millright. I don't think you'll be disappointed. With your background, I really look forward to seeing what you create. Good luck with your build.

Well, decided to start out with the spindle kit. Ordered my complete setup today. Can't wait to get it, and start working on it. One quick question... In the store, one area mentions the machine coming with clamps, and another area says you have to purchase or make clamps. Can I get clarification, does it come with clamps? Thank You, Jason Hey Jason! Thanks for the order. Can you point to where you see that clamps come with it? They don't come with clamps. If you can show me where it says it I'll be happy to send ya some of the basic little slotted mdf clamps we have. Thanks

Admin... Not sure where I saw it at... honestly, I've been looking at so many cnc machines and 3d printers lately that I could have read it somewhere else. Not a big deal at all. I might have a small 3d printer before the cnc gets here, so I can always print some clamps or just make some out of wood I have lying around. No biggie at all. Super excited to get the machine and get started. Well, decided to start out with the spindle kit. Ordered my complete setup today. Can't wait to get it, and start working on it. We mostly use windows laptops, running windows 8 or windows 10. Some people use Apple Macs. Some people also use Windows 7 computers.
To my knowledge, none of the programs that most people use for CNC are designed to run on an Android and I know the Android tablet will not recognize the control board.
Also, please start a new topic for these types of inquiries. It helps me make sure that your questions have been answered when I see it as a separate topic.
Thanks Derek

We are looking forward to getting your order out once we can get all our parts back in. You are doing the right thing spending the time learning. I'd also go ahead and read through the assembly instructions a time or two to help make that process easier when it gets there.

Derek, Thanks for shipping my machine quicker than I expected. I haven't finished getting familiar with Autocad yet, so I guess I'd better start studying. Mike

Will do. I will get the hang of the CAD. It just takes time working with the software. I am researching some endmills to get started now. It will be anticlimactic to build the machine and not be able to cut anything! lol
