I can check again when I get home tonight, but I have set the home location (G92) numerous times (ie: my first post). Maybe the command isn't actually being run... hopefully it's as simple as that. It's also interesting that the 'Y' homing switch doesn't stop the router from going beyond the limit when running the file. What you're describing is known as hard limits. From the box your machine is not configured for hard limits and homing switches as hard limits won't work through UGS. The grinding is because your design is exceeding the boundaries. Make sure when you home, the small coordinates go to zero. When you set your WCS zero, make sure the large numbers go to zero. Are you zeroing on the lower left corner? Doesn't appear so from the first video. I could be wrong but I think the design zero is lower left To clarify, home the machine, jog to lower left corner, lower Z until cutter is zeroed using paper method. Then zero all axis.

His wiring for his stepper motors for Z and Y are switched. That's probably most of his problem.
