Didn't someone in the know say something like x % faster than a pt, x% less cut. I can't find the quote.

I believe I read Double the feed rate and half the depth of the PR for the Mega V on the facebook group, but I'm searching for where I saw that. Doubling the feed rate does seem like a lot...

Good afternoon. So obviously I'm late to the party but this looks helpful. I've installed the app but I'd like to know what machine would be closest to my Mega V in the app? Thank you for your time.

I too would love to see the Mega V on this app. In the meantime, "power route. 1/2 the depth, 40% faster, appox." Thanks,

Thanks, Me too, what I am really interested in is for the depth pass cut, for contour milling 6061-T6 or 5052-O, as I've seen some demo video's that shown some impressive deep cuts for the Mega V. Would you believe me if I told you we have had this since the beginning and still haven't used it yet. It's all working now so I'm looking forward to testing it very soon! I'm also interested in the best way (if possible) to drill into these aluminum materials, now that the z axis is stronger I'm hoping it can be more than divots, so any details on if this is possible please share. Thanks.

Ping on this... still trying to find information on the depth cut for Mega V, I'm not sure how compatible the calculator is using the other CNC machines. Has anyone worked with any kind of aluminum on the MegaV who is willing to share your settings. Same question for the stronger plastics like Lexan, Polycarbonate, Acrylic, PVC, etc... I've written up a document on these for the m3, so some of the settings like the speeds and feeds apply, but now with more torque offered by the newer frame and gearing, may have improved settings. I have a master link for this information for anyone interested here: www.termstech.com/articles/3481_CNC_MasterLink.html this link is more for the students on our team, but can be useful for anyone looking for the speeds and feeds outside of just using the calculator.

Is this app still working? There wasn't a link on the original post.
I managed to find it buried in the quote option and when it opens up in play store it is no available to download as the versions are not compatibale
