I did a search and didn’t see this mentioned. But do you really need to crank down on the bolt on the router mount to get it to securely hold the Dewalt Router? I had to almost close the entire gap before it secured the router in place.

It shouldn't be hard. Did it say "Colt" on the back of it in permanent marker by chance?

It shouldn't be hard. Did it say "Colt" on the back of it in permanent marker by chanceup? Recieved my router aluminum block a week after assembly, didn't notice any markings on it, but I too have to crank it all the way down to hold the dewalt, and it barely holds only at certain positions.the Phillips slot on the screw is actually being messed up by having to tighten it down so much to hold.

I took a look at our stock again with the calipers and they look good. I asked about the marking on the back because we actually wrote "Colt" in perm marker on the back of all the colt mounts to keep them from getting mixed up with dewalt mounts, which have a smaller ID. If it is holding you'll be ok. Let me know.

Yep that’s my problem too. The opening is quite larger than diameter of the Dewalt.
