Hey all. Glad to be here. I came from a Shapeoko xl3 and found the power route by chance. Derek helped me out with some initial questions about the machine and sold me the same day we spoke. So far I love this machine. The first thing I made was an 80mm spindle sleeve adapter set for the Dw618 mount it comes with. Pics of it in case anyone wants to try the idea out. If anyone is interested and have questions about how it works let me know.

Is that a 1.5 or 2.2kw spindle?

Would love more details on the spindle, theres a post below asking about spindles on the power route.
Looks to be water cooled? Is it VFD controlled?

Sorry for delay. It's a rattmotor 2.2kw water cooled spindle run on 240 vfd. Currently controlled via dial on vfd.

Nice price, so you need 220V single phase service? Also why nor but the 80mm mount for $25?

You could use a Step-up transformer like this. This is the type I bought (I used a 2KW transformer for 1HP spindle). You want it oversized but how much is the question. You might be able to use a 3KW but a 5KW would work for sure. But I've noticed my system doesn't pull much current under a consistent load. Some small increase in load current doesn't last long and then it goes back down to minimum load. I suppose it depends on what you are milling and how aggressive your speed and feed is set. This transformer is a toroidal design which has a small size and weight, less audible hum, and higher efficiency than standard design transformers as well as providing electrical isolation and reduced EMF from the VFD. My bro in law is an electrician and set me up with a dedicated 240 and a few other dedicated lines for the biz.
