I've come across an unfortunate issue with both of my Y-axis motor plates. The motor mount slots are milled just a hair too big and the provided spacers don't work as they should. Even where the slots are the "right" size, there is so little area for the spacer to bear against that the slightest pressure on the screw causes the spacer to sink in and bottom out the screw in the motor housing.
As it stands there is only some fraction of a millimeter between the outside diameter of the spacer and the inside width of the slot because the spacer walls are so thin, so there can't be much room to play with for tolerance on those parts to begin with.
I was able to scare up some thin washers I had laying around and put them between the spacer and the mounting plate. The screws still reach into the motor block well enough, so I think I'm good to go for now.

Same issue for me, but I need to head to the hardware store to find the washers or wider spacers.

Thought this egg was cracked... I'll look back into it.
