Has anyone used a Raspberry Pi to run UGCS rather than a desktop or laptop computer? If so, any issues?
Thanks, Aaron

There was a thread on here of a user, which if I remember correctly, ran UGS on a RPi with a touchscreen. Its probably a few pages back by now...

I've got it running on my pi but I haven't done any cuts with it.
Long story short is I need a VGA - HDMI adaptor, I can only access the Pi via VNC at the moment - so I don't want to risk something going wrong and not being about to hit stop. In the new year I plan to operate the CNC with the pi and design on my laptop.

You are suppose to be able to use bCNC on a RPi also. github.com/vlachoudis/bCNCbCNC: GRBL CNC command sender, autoleveler, g-code editor, digitizer, CAM and swiss army knife for all your CNC needs. An advanced fully featured g-code sender for GRBL. bCNC is a cross platform program (Windows, Linux, Mac) written in python. The sender is robust and fast able to work nicely with old or slow hardware like Rasperry PI (As it was validated by the GRBL mainter on heavy testing).
