I keep running into a problem where the G Code Sender suddenly locks up in the middle of making a part. Once this happens I can't use any function of the software - it just freezes up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

It could be some different things. Have you run on that system previous without incident? It might be electrical noise (likely) or just UGS freezing due to resource issues (possible). If you let it rub with the router left off (make sure the end mill won't drag the stock) does it go okay?

If you can run the toolpath ok with the router off. Then you want to make sure the router motor power line is run away from the electronics and stepper motor lines. Also you might change the the USB cable to see if that helps.

I'm trying to make a piece that takes about 1 hour. It freezes up after about 45 minutes. So far I've messed up 3 pieces. It also locks up if I pause the run. There are numerous senders out there, can you recommend one.
Thanks

Can you tell us what happens if you run it with the router off?
