New to cnc and just completed build of carve king.
One is the y axis motors makes noise when not moving. Is that normal? Also, when running test g code, the two y motors appeared to not move together.
I will re-check jumpers and voltage but was thinking it might be the driver due to the noise. Wanted to see if anyone had suggestions and see if motor noise is normal.
Thanks, in advance.

There should be a small amount of noise from the motors while power applied and engaged by the controller. There should be torque on the motor making it hard to turn by hand also. Make sure the couplers set screws are tight between the motor shaft and the lead screw. And yes double check the jumpers on the CNC Shield.

Thanks...I checked the jumpers and one was wrong. That did the trick!
