finally able to get connected to the UNO board. All the motors are moving in the proper direction but EXTREAMLY SLOW. Also the limit switches are not reacting. I've checked the pins and they are in the correct horizontal position on the proper pins. I also checked the connection on the spade connectors. I .just put new drivers on and got them set properly to .65.

could i be reading my volt meter wrong? i am using an auto select meter set to v dc. when i first touch the pot on the driver it read 1.2 so i turned it down to .65. the motors are barely turning but in the correct directions. should i readjust the drivers to 6.5 on my meter? I'm a bit confused on the reading.

Can you take a picture of your DVM in operation and reading 0.65? Some cheap meters are easy to miss a decimal place and with a picture we should at least be able to tell you if you're reading it correctly.

If your multi-meter has 2000mV listed on the selection dial, the readout your looking for is 650mV on the readout display. OR there will be a 2 V on the selector and the display will read .65 Also make sure you have the probes plugged in correctly, Red lead in the V, Ohm, mA input and the black lead to COM or common input. Indecently the common symbol for DC would be the equals sign = sometimes the bottom line may be a dotted line. The AC symbol is the ~ (tilde sign). So a V~ would be a setting to read an AC voltage. V= would be a setting to read a DC voltage.

It might just be that your feed rate is set very slow in Universal G-Code sender. I have seen where the jog commands are set to 10 mm per minute, for example. Take a look at what value you have there.
It would also help us diagnose things for you if you could share your settings with us please. Just type $$ in the command line of universal G-Code sender and press enter. The settings will appear in the terminal window. Just copy and paste them here.

I had a friend check the voltage settings with a different meter and they are correct. What threw me off was it auto set the reading and did change the indicator from mV to V. In reading this board, I think it is the jog setting. I think I can make and save the changes just need to know which $?? and value to change. Is this also the time to adjust the length of accepted commands from 50 to 70?
Will try and post the g code later.

Hi, where do I find the jog command to check the setting . I posted my g code settings but don't know what I'm looking for. Thanks....B

The GRBL settings look good. The Jog setting in the software Universal G-Code Sender.
