We recently finished setting up the Power Route kit and we tried testing the stepper motors in the Universal G-code Platform. We got the X and Y axis motors to move but they only move in one direction. No matter if I hit the + or - button. They also still move with the corresponding limit switch closed. The visualizer in the software shows it going back to it's original position when moving it in the positive then the negative direction. We have not gotten the Z axis motor to work at all. It states that it moves in the software but it actually doesn't. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Sounds like something is loose between the stepper drivers and the motors. Double check the connections and make sure they are tight.

These boxes get pretty closely checked before leaving so if you are seeing two different issues I presume the box got dropped pretty hard in shipping. I'd suggest looking hard are the white switches on the stepper drivers in the box to see if any are in a half cocked positon and also looking at the green connectors being unseated from the stepper driver. Also note that you must remove the power plug from the wall if you open the cover or you'll be exposed to 120V electricity.

I took apart the control box and tugged all the wires and everything seemed secured, except for the entire shield for the arduino. That was about to fall off. I pushed it in and I am good. Thanks
