I have been wanting to make this section a little more rigid for a while now and so I made a much deeper clamp holder. It has 6 bolts on the front and the back versus the standard 2. I had issues uploading pics here so here is a small album imgur.com/a/7VnyIx3

Looks great!
Just curious, were you experiencing rigidity issues? or what caused you need to beef it up? I've cut a wide array of materials and some hardwoods and so far it seems to have been ok.

Eh, its not so much having issues, its more of, it could be better. Any beefing up just allows me to cut deeper and faster and this helps with me cutting metals.

The black is ABS and the white is PLA. Both are plastics with different properties. ABS is more rigid and has a higher strength and temperature threshold and I can also weld plastic together easier using acetone. When you do this the joint is much stronger than the print itself. PLA is faster for me to print and I use it when I just need something fast and I dont care about its properties. PLA is easier to break and has a much lower temperature threshold and can deform just sitting in my garage (in the desert where temps in the summer reaches 110+ for weeks at a time). I also cannot plastic weld PLA.
