Hi, Does anyone know whether this bracket will work on the M3 or Carve King? It turns out that Dewalt routers are very hard to find in my country and I'm planning to use the Makita RT0700C, which needs a 65mm diameter. The bracket looks a lot like the one sold on the millrightcnc website, sold together with the 400W spindle and I was wondering if I could use it instead of having to 3d print a bushing for the Dewalt mount bracket.

If you have access to to a 3D printer it seems to me it would be easier to print the bushing for the larger bracket rather than drill and tap holes in the mounts you posted. The dimention on the 65mm mount is 130mm. It's too wide to fit the Z axis mounting plate of 100mm. Not to mention the mounting holes in the plate.

Some people have adapted the Makita router to a DeWalt mount by using some plastic sheet or a split piece of PVC pipe as a shim. As an alternative, can you find the Bosch Colt router in your country? That should fit the DeWalt mount without modification.

The 52mm version should mount up just fine on either the CK or the M3.

I think that the bushing is the way to go because I already have a 3d printer. Thanks for the help everyone.
