I have created a few small projects using Easel (bit holders, etc.) but nothing of real value until now. I spent a few weeks on this project for my father, from designing the project in Sketchup, to taking it into Easel for the CNC work (still need to learn Fusion but havent had time yet). I am extremely happy with how it turned out, and definitely learned a lot through the whole process. Plan on making a few more boards in the future for myself and a few friends. Hope you like it! FINISHED BOARD: I finished the board with Tried and True Danish Oil which I absolutely love. When I first wiped it on I was taken aback by how well it brought out the grain. Overall I am so happy with the turnout. Let me know your thoughts! Beautiful work. I am a Danish Oil fan too.

WOW! That looks fantastic. Thank you! Definitely a few things I would change around for next time: - Barrel Hinges - once I get a drill press - Channel to hold the pieces for storage, etc

Great work. How did you level out the inlays with the rest of the board. Did you plane it using the CNC? Thanks for posting all the pictures of your building process.

I thought about leveling them out using the CNC, but I did enough test pieces to the point where they fit without much sanding needed. I ended up just sanding them down flush and it came out great. If I was using hardwood for the game board, I likely would have considered using the CNC to flatten it, or just use my planer that I just bought.
