i KEEP GETTING tool path generated Tutorial - CAD and CAM with Autodesk. I SELECTED A 1/8 INCH FLAT MILL END. WHEN i FINISH ENTERING THE INFORMATION ONTO SETUP IT SAYS TOOL PATH CANNOT BE GENERATED. i HAVE CHOOSEN THE EDGE OF THE HOLES FOR 3 CIRCULAR FACES.

The end mill must be smaller then the diameter of the hole. Also, I always select the bottom face of the hole, unless the hole goes all the way through the part, in which case I select the sides of the hole, not just the edge. Don't know if this will make a difference.

Which machining strategy are you trying to use?

What did you select from the CAM menu? Contour? Bore? Pocket?
Those are different strategies.
