This one caught my eye as pretty cool. This customer tagged MillRight CNC on instagram and I got to looking at his stuff. This project was by AJ Huff who goes by aj6986 on Instagram. Judging from the looks and his description, he chopped a bunch of pine boards, glued them together, pocketed out the end grain, milled out some walnut letters, and inlaid that walnut into the end grain of the pine. I thought that created a cool look. http://instagram.com/p/BKo6m9ThI36

Very nice. I've been playing with how to cut inlays with a v-bit to tighten joints with inlays and to ease them being set in under pressure from a press.

Check out F-engrave by Scorchworks (free). I think that guy has a tutorial on how to machine two pieces using that program using a V bit, then you glued the part sticking up into the part you carved out, let it set, then hacksaw at the seam, sand it, and wha-la inlay work.

That is pretty cool. One of the things that makes CNCing so much fun is the diversity of different projects that can be made with the machine.
