Turned on the machine today and the motor for y axis did not turn on. X and Z powered up fine and hold well. Checked my connections, and all seem secure. What could have happened? Thanks and the machine is the M3

Plug the x or z into the y port if you can. This will make it where the x/z will move with the Y jog controls. If they move, then the problem is the Y motor. If they don't move, the problem may be the driver. You can plug the Y into the x/z to see if the y motor will move.

Moved the x into Y position. X and Y not working. Then inserted the Y into the empty X.....Y is now working. So I know the motor is working, but the driver is suspect. May I order a new one. Thank you.
