I’m 100% new to CNC work but recently went out on a limb and bought the XXL. It’s been a ranting task to learn everything from designing to tool paths and gcode.
I have been trying out my work on a few projects and am running into an issue with my curves. My O’s turn out looking like deformed almonds and a few times when making multiple passes the bit doesn’t follow the same path. Is this a calibration issue or am I doing something wrong?
Also, when I have noticed these issues and tried cancelling the file transfer on UGS I always get a timeout error. The only way I can stop during a project is to pause and disconnect the machine, which causes issues with my work zero.
Anyone have any suggestions to help a new guy out?

UGS doesn't pause well. Just hit stop. Disconnect the cables to your control box and grap the x rail IN THE Middle and move it forward and back, It should be smooth, and require only constant pressure (no high or lows). Move the router chassis from side to side and expect the same. It it sticks, uneven pressure, adjust the racks. Once that is done, if you are running vcarve, go here and get this file. www.facebook.com/groups/1006388983068312/permalink/1430890037284869
