I've had my Carve King 2 for a few years and I love it. I recently built an enclosure for it and after placing everything back in (nothing was disassembled), it will randomly freeze on the diagonal movements. I've looked through the boards and I didn't see anything about anyone having this issue before. Does anyone have any idea on what I can do?

You might want to check on the routing of the power cord for your router. It's best kept as far as possible from any wiring that's not 110VAC.

I have it plugged into a garage outlet, so I'm pretty sure thats 110. I'm also using a battery backup because I had dirty power issues at a different location a couple years ago.
Thanks.

I may not have made my suggestion clearly.
The path of the electric cord between the router and the 110VAC electric socket should be as far as possible away from any cables between the Carve King control box and the Carve King stepper motors or the Carve King limit switches (if any). If you need an extension cord to keep the wiring separated, do it.
If, by chance, you're running 110VAC power to the router through the cable trough on the Carve King gantry, you're risking erratic behavior. I know that it's neater when running the router's power cord along the other wires, but it's not good practice.
I hope this helps.
