sorry i forgot to post becuase i was so happy i got it working. in the end the black power wire coming from the barrel on the power box upgrade i got was loose in its shielding. so i re wired it and the red wire again to make sure everything was secure and shielded and now everything is peachy. so in the end, when i moved the power box down to fit my custom tensioner that i printed, I must have caused the wires to bend too much and break connection.
Thanks for all of your help. I really appreciate it.

Question about the 24v AC Adapter, I am only measuring .4 volts at the screw connections. Then at the Stepper motors no volts are registering. Could my multimeter be to cheap or could my adapter be working improperly?
I did reconnect the wires just to see if they were not getting a good bite with the screws and it is the same voltage reading .40. That is using the 20V--- not the V~ with the squiggly lines. I did try a almost all the other settings to see if I would get anything but only other place I got anything was the kilohms. The 2000mv--- spot does give a reading of 420.
I have also unplugged the adapter into many different outlets but got the same reading.
What should I try next?

Looks like you may have a power supply problem. If this is a new system you need to send an email to support@millrightcnc.com Or try an alternate 24Vdc power supply.

I had a dodgy plug/socket on the 24V supply that came with my Carve King. I soldered in another plug and socket (an RCA audio plug and jack) and mounted an on/off switch on the plastic electronics case. Now it's reliable and convenient.
