I made this for my wife. She works as a physical therapist at a hospital. First time using a water base clear coat. It worked good. I could have used a few more coats before I leveled and started a full rub out of the finish. Sanded a few spots to the color. I still had a few spots I needed to pick off the masking from around the letters when I took the picture.

As someone who has gone through a couple of rounds of PT for different injuries, I can wholeheartedly attest to the accuracy of that statement! Looks great! What did you use for that blue? That's a really nice shade.

I used a blue wood dye with 4 or 5 clear coats (should have used more) then did a full rub out and polish. Then put a vinyl mask on the whole thing and cut the letters and logo. Then sealed and clear coated the letters, and removed the mask. The mask is clear and hard to see in small areas.

Ya know, it almost has a blue marble look to it.
