While most people bought their machines to make artsy/crafty stuff, I bought mine for more utilitarian purpose. That's why you rarely see me post projects because they're mostly electronics mounts, motor mounts, brackets yada yada. Well this is my latest I have a need to fill project. This is V1 as it's going to change. Don't like that it doesn't have positive retention on the top for the rods. It's not glued up yet that's why the dowels don't look perfectly flush to the top. As for the fish, I'm in S. Texas and one of the most popular sport fish inshore is a giant Bull Red.

Love Red fishing! Dad and I used to hit Big Lake all the time for Red Fish. Looks nice. Didn’t realize you had a laser too.

Nice.
FWIW, Alex, I’m interested in seeing more of the utilitarian projects posted as well. That’s a huge benefit of having a machine like this, and the more examples and process discussion available, the better.

Great work Alex. This would look great next to a pool table as pool cue holder too!

Really great! Not too much material costs, not too much machining work, super beautiful and useful !

Great idea! I'm also interested in your other projects made with CNC.
