I set the stepper pots per spec at .65 +- .05 after connecting the motors I now get .663, do I need to reset them?
My motors do not turn, the just make a noise as if they are trying to turn. In the trouble shooting is says the g code should be set to G90 instead of g91. When I click on Machine then Firmware Settings I get a blank popup with no options to modify anything. Any ideas?

I’m not sure that your computer has actually connected to the Uno board. When you open the connection to the Com port, do all the firmware settings listed at the end of the instructions come up in the window? What happens when you type $G in the command line and press enter?
What operating system?

Tech Support,
I’m working page 32 of 38 for King Carve instructions. I’m trying to jog X, Y, Z. $20=initial set to “1”. I reset to “0”. In UGS MACHINE set at “G90”. I tried to reset to “G91” but UGS GAVE ME AN ERROR AND IT KEPT RESETTING TO “G90”.
When trying to jog X, Y, Z I could get each motor to hmmm but no movement. Help.... where do I go from here....

Please stop replying to old threads. This one is around 18 months old. Feel free to just start a new thread. That way we can keep anything that you are asking all together and have a better picture of what you have done already.
As to your question: What are you trying to do with g90 and G91? I have not seen what you are describing about UGS resetting a G91 to a G90, but I would have to hear more about what you are trying to do.
What are you doing to jog the machine? Are you connected? Does the console window in UGS show "connected to com# at 115200"? After that does it have a list of settings like $0=##?
