Did something beyond stupid today. One of the perils of a garage/shop. In the attached picture you can see I use an extension cord that comes down in the center of the garage. Imagine if you will a car parked there. While working on a non CNC project today I decided to back the car out forgetting the rig was plugged in. Caught the extension cord on the car mirror and dragged everything a few feet. In the process the M3 crashed to the floor. It landed on the left side right on the electronics. The left side has a break in it now near the top rear but fortunately not where the center rail attaches. Was able to fix that with some glue. The Z axis belt came loose which I fixed. Amazingly everything seems to be working okay. Thought I was going to have to place that Carve King order today but it will have to wait a bit longer. Next time I will drape the cord over the door track to prevent another accident. I challenge you to top that dumb s*&t move. Attachments:

Wait, next time TIE the cord to the car and faster faster, then you have the excuse to buy the Carve King.

Actually says a lot for the durability of the machine. Don't try this at home.

I’m glad it survived that fall. I’m actually surprised myself how nice it’s runnibg after a fall like that.
